OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
Objective 1: Provide a comprehensive ANC package;
Activities:
– Readily prescribe routine and protocol drugs such as Iron, deworming, IPT(where available)
– Conduct IPT screening and treat all pregnant women with STIs according to protocols and standard guidelines.
– Promote PMTCT to all pregnant women using ANC services.
– Identify risky pregnancies, including obstetric emergencies during ANC and refer to appropriate levels of health care
– Screen all pregnant women attending services for malnutrition and take appropriate actions when malnutrition is detected
– Provide IYCF services, including counselling and health education on the importance of lactation to all pregnant women utilizing MC services.
– Provide support to mobile clinic activity during deployment for Crisis Modifier response.
Objective 2: Provide a comprehensive PNC package
Activities:
– Conduct IPT screening and treat all lactating women with STIs according to protocols and standard guidelines.
– Screen all lactating women attending services for malnutrition and take appropriate actions when malnutrition is detected
– Provide postnatal care services according to protocols, including vitamin A supplementation, other medical supplements and neonatal care
– Provide IYCF services, including counselling and health education on the importance of lactation to all lactating women utilizing MC services
-Conduct awareness raising on Family Planning its importance, individual counselling and referring clients who needs FP services to health facilities at the health facility level and durind mobile clinic deployment.
NURSE

OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
Objective 1: Carry out Consultations for children 0-59 months;
Activities:
– Tri-age of patients at risk ;
– Ensure the clinical examinations
– Direct the patients to the facilities corresponding to their medical state, especially regarding referrals to partner hospitals;
– Apply the prescribed treatment according to the IMCI protocol
– Ensure the prescribed frequency of clinical examinations in the phases according to the state of each patient ;
– Provide support to mobile clinic activity during deployment for Crisis Modifier response.
Objective 2: Support the management of the Pharmacy at the HF level and Mobile Clinic when applicable;
Activities:
– Dispense medication for the Mobile clinic teams, when applicable, ensuring comprehension of posology
– Place bimonthly and emergency orders for medication according to Average Monthly Consumption rates of the MC team.
– Ensure the Health Facilities and Mobile clinic trunks never contain expired medications
– Conduct monthly inventories for follow-up of consumption
– Fill the RUMER (daily consumption tracker) after daily field trips
– Support the Health and Nutrition supervisor and logistics assistant in the management of the stock at the Kumba pharmacy
Objective 3 : Admission and Management of Severe Acute Malnourished Cases
Activities
– Ensure the prescribed frequency of clinical examinations depending on the phase or state of patient evolution ;
– Apply the prescribed treatment according to the CMAM/IMAM protocols.
-Direct and follow-up SAM cases with complications to the IPF.
– Determine when home visits are needed
– Follow-up children under the OTP program during regular visits
– Obtain results from the Appetite test determining if the patient will be maintained as OTP or transferred to IPF
02 PSYCHOSOCIAL WORKERS

OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
Objective 1: Implement awareness sessions on psychological and mental health;
Activities:
– Facilitate awareness sessions during mobile clinics as per MHCP guidelines.
– Participate in the development of educational materials and adapt them according to the target audience;
– Conduct activities for mothers and children according to their needs;
– Evaluate the knowledge of the beneficiaries before and after the sessions;
– Organize and lead demonstration sessions related to breastfeeding practices or child development;
– Encourage beneficiaries to participate in exchange and participation of beneficiaries;
– Evaluate the content of each workshop, analyze it, and report it using the evaluation grids.
Objective 2: Lead focus group discussions with beneficiaries attending medical mobile clinics;
Activities:
– Know how to lead and motivate the beneficiaries during focus group discussion.
– Observe and analyze the content of the message gathered during the group session and evaluate it using an evaluation grid
– Being able to receive and contain the expression of important emotions
– Facilitate role play sessions with beneficiaries by allowing the expression of all participants
– Create a friendly and be someone the beneficiaries can trust to share their stories
Objective 3: Participate in the collection of information concerning the needs of beneficiaries in terms of mental health and protection and make referrals ;
Activities:
-Be able to identify groups of individuals who are more vulnerable and in need of psychological support.
– Observe and collect information concerning the needs of beneficiaries in terms of mental health and protection during program activities.
– Report and share information collected in the field to your direct line manager.
– Provide technical support to beneficiaries of transmission and awareness methods.
– Empowerment and motivation of beneficiaries vis-à-vis the transmission of information provided by the program.
– Identify, assess needs and refer beneficiaries to other agencies for further support.
– Weekly supervision of these transmissions.
– Data collection: ensure that the data are collected and reported in the internal tools
WASH SENIOR OFFICER

OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
Objective 1: Implementing water supply activities
Activities:
– Diagnose the hydraulic works (Super structure, drainage system, system power supply, plumbing, etc.);
– Produce estimates of equipment and requirements for the rehabilitation of the works diagnosed;
– Produce drawings of the works to be carried out ;
– With the support of the Health Nutrition Program Manager and support of WaSH Responsible design of robust water treatment and monitoring systems to ensure that the water supplied to beneficiaries is fit for human consumption;
– Train and supervise the construction or rehabilitation team;
– Manage the supervision of all water treatment systems and water quality monitoring;
– Provide weekly reports of progress on all water treatment systems and monitoring activities.
– Maintain comprehensive control systems on materials and tools used, including notes on quality of materials procured;
– Participate in review and evaluation of work to assist in enhancing program delivery and quality;
– Report any equipment breakdowns or malfunctions to the program manager.
Objective 2: Sanitation Infrastructure and Support training on waste and environmental management;
Activities:
– Assess the need for latrines and draw up bills of quantities and technical plans for the works;
– Manage the construction/rehabilitation of sanitation facilities (latrines, incinerators, drains,
washhouses, etc.) in the field;
– Ensure the quality of materials, compliance with plans, standards and technical specifications;;
– Ensure that materials and equipment are used correctly on site;
– According to the identification of our volumes and categories of waste by office and GH, map the recycling channels present in the areas of intervention during site visits;
– Carry out waste assessments during visits and associated risk and propose mitigation measures.
– Identify the hazardous waste management channels;
– Development of the collection process in the capital and bases and bases-capital, towards the recycling channels;
– Initiate contracts with the recycling and waste management sectors and framework recycling contracts;
– Support the implementation of eco-friendly infrastructure set up (making sure that economical trees/shrubs are planted in and around facilities (including Health facilities)
– Collect/capitalize program expectations on waste
– Develop training content and support training of health facility staff on health facility waste management system
– Conduct assessment of waste management needs for implementing health facilities
– Conduct environmental impact assessment of sites identified for incinerator construction
– Develop practical guidelines on use and management of incinerators in health facilities
– Develop practical guidelines on latrine desludging for logistics/contractors
– Follow up and ensure the implementation of NEAT+ recommendation
