UNDP is hiring a Project Specialist(P3) in the Central African Republic for the KOICA funding project, “Enhancing Stabilization and Strengthening Social Cohesion through the Rehabilitation of Basic Infrastructure, Provision of Livelihood Support, and Activities to Promote Peace and Social Cohesion in the Central African Republic.”
Responsibilities:
– Ensure Effective Management of the Project in terms of Financial, Administrative and Human Resources
– Ensure effective Project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
– Lead Advocacy, Partnerships and Resource Mobilization.
– Facilitate Knowledge Building and Management.
Requirements:
– Minimum 5 years (with master’s degree) or 7 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant experience
– At least 2 years of experience in the field involving project/program management including experience working in stabilization and recovery contexts
– Experience in the use of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc), database packages, and web-based management systems such as ERP
– Proficiency in oral and written French language
– Knowledge of English is desirable, Knowledge of Korean in written and oral form is highly desirable
– Working experience with UNDP in policy development and/or project implementation is a strong asset
