PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT OFFICER

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor the bank’s strategic plan to ensure the bank delivers on performance indicators across various departments so that targets are met under the supervision of TL Performance Management
- Under the supervision of TL performance Management, develop and implement strategies to increase revenue.
- Design and implement a performance evaluation approach
- Perform detailed analysis of staff performance to identify the basis for deviations from plans and present results to the Head of Human Capital Management
- Management of the performance appraisal process through the administration of clearly defined policies/procedures
- under the supervision of TL performance Management, Assist organize appraisal review meetings and monitor the implementation of appraisal review recommendations
- Carry out an industry survey on Staff Performance.

Key Performance Indicator
- Time is taken to attend to grievance issues that may arise from appraisal exercise.
- The variance between the time slated for the Performance Appraisal Process and the actual time it takes place.
- Time is taken to submit periodic appraisal reports.
Education Requirements
- Minimum of a first degree in any Social Science discipline
- Professional certification in Accounting/Finance
Experience
Minimum requisite experience 2-5 years of relevant experience

BALANCE SHEET MANAGEMENT OFFICER

Roles & Responsibilities
- Review of Branch, Operation and Finance proofs and regularize warehouse items
- Provide all documentation and respond to all audit issues.
- Resolve all internal, external and group audits exceptions.
- Prepare Finance Proofs and submit before the 5th of the month.
- Review and adjustment of issues noticed in the Trial balance
- Complete all re-performances of TDs/BDC and OTA/TBs before 20th of the month.
- Perform Financial Control on Parallelism in Accounting Books.
- Process all invoices within 48hrs.
Knowledge
- UBA banking structure, policies and procedures

Skills
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong knowledge in CEMAC accounting Chart (PCEC).
- Knowledge of financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, OHADA).

Key Performance Indicator
- Timely and accurate proofing of accounts.
- Close all audit exceptions within the period.
- Processing of Invoices within 48 hours
- Accurate review and regularization of Trial Balance.
Education Requirements
- Minimum of a First degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance.
- Professional Certification is an added advantage
Experience
At-least 5 years experience in either banking or audit firm.

FINANCIAL REPORTING AND CONTROL OFFICER

Reporting Line: Team Lead Financial Reporting & Control

Roles & Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of TL Financial Reporting & Control, Prepares and declare spectra on a monthly basis with accuracy.
- Assists in the preparation and declaration of balance of payment on a quarterly basis with accuracy.
- Assists in financial analysis activities to provide interpretation of past, present and forecasted results of the company relating to all aspects of the Income Statement, along with providing explanation of results.
- Assist in preparation of statutory financials and group reporting consolidated financial statements.
- Under the supervision of the TL, prepares reporting pack as per IFRS bi-annually.
- Assist in the preparation of ETAT GH on a bi-annual basis.
- Assist in the preparation of combined spectra following IFRS on a monthly basis.
- Daily analysis of the trial balance with documented issues raised and solved.
- Assist to drive external audits and assist in preparing data for rating agencies.
- Assists the Finance Team with the creation, implementation and maintenance of comprehensive accounting policy documents to improve clarity and consistency.
- Other ad hoc regulatory reporting preparation ( cerber reports, group reports, local regulatory requirements).
Knowledge
- Familiarity with consolidating financials for parent companies with subsidiaries and understanding group reporting procedures.
- Knowledge of key financial ratios (liquidity ratios, profitability ratios, solvency ratios) and how to use them to assess company performance.
Skills
- Strong knowledge in CEMAC accounting Chart (PCEC).
- Knowledge of financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, OHADA).
- Ability to work end-to-end with minimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain high accuracy in financial data and reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
- Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies and areas for financial improvement
Key Performance Indicator
- Timeliness of Financial Reports (100% of reports completed by specified deadlines).
- Percentage of reports with no significant errors or corrections required after submission (98-100% accuracy).
Education Requirements
- Minimum of a first degree
- Professional Certification is an advantage
Experience
2 to 5 years minimum in Financial Reporting role in a Commercial bank in CEMAC.
