ASSISTANT NURSE

JOB SUMMARY
The Nurse will work to contribute to an improvement in the overall health of the targeted population through the provision of quality health care (curative, preventive health care). JOB SUMMARY

DRIVER
JOB SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the Driver is to ensure that International Medical Corps staff or goods movements are performed in safely and secured manner.

Health Field Site Manager
JOB SUMMARY
S/he will be responsible for managing and running the daily activities of the International Medical Corps health project in the area. Will oversee and manage the field team and health education team working in the area. She/he will also ensure that health activities are within the approved scope of deliverables and budget as well as ensuring that health interventions adhere to national and international standards.

Program Management
- Work with the health senior management team to develop Health sector strategy for health programs in the area through identification of program/sector needs.
- Assist the health senior management team in planning for proposals, conducting assessments.
- Oversight of the health and community field team, PHCCs, and other service providers for the implementation of the assigned health activities to ensure that set goals and objectives are met.
- Guide the health team to ensure regular collection of the data and documentation as per grant and reporting requirements.

Technical Oversight
- Work with the field medical team to develop technical protocols and guidelines as needed
- Develop training plan for health care workers including community health workers in coordination with the filed health team
- Oversee technical quality of inputs, interventions and reports at field site level
- Directly supervise assigned field health staff to ensure that country program interventions and project objectives are met in accordance to committed standards
- Lead the health staff on medical facility assessments, data quality assurance, analysis and interpretation of data, disease surveillance, emergency preparedness, outbreak response and other relevant subjects related to program management in coordination with the MEAL department and health senior management team
- Work closely with his/her subordinates to undertake ongoing assessments of population needs.
- Provide support in collaboration with other departments in ensuring that all supported health facilities including medical mobile units are equipped and maintained according to the national and global standards

Administration and Finance

Staff Management
- Organize daily work schedule for the field team according to the agreed work plan, and assign task according to the priorities in implementation

JOB SUMMARY
Provide support to field teams for implementing MHPSS activities, providing services, and organizing program activities.

Daily program implementation

Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Officer

The Officer, Infection and Prevention Control (IPC) is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating infection prevention and control activities within the hospital setting. The role involves working closely with healthcare staff, patients, and MoH/GHO to ensure compliance with infection control policies, procedures, and best practices. Project Development and Implementation
• Ensure the implementation and continuity of antenatal and postnatal care, family planning, obstetrical care (BEmONC and CEmONC), neonatal and comprehensive abortion care, management of victims of sexual violence, reproductive tract infections.
• Collaborating with the medical doctor and /or nurse in the management of Sexual Violence cases
• Assessing the feasibility of referral of pregnant women from the TBAs to the OPD/MCH.
• Ensuring hygiene and sterilization criteria (including universal precautions) are met.
• Performing cleaning and minor maintenance for biomedical equipment used. Following the user manual and protocols and alert supervisor in case of malfunctioning.
• Guaranteeing a regular and ongoing supply of drugs and equipment required for maternity activities (including monitoring/consumption control/ordering of orders.
• Ensuring patients’ right to privacy and confidentiality is respected Supervising administrative procedures of admissions and hospitalizations.
• Manage obstetric emergencies as per national/international protocols.
• Supervises the use of drugs, facilities and obstetric material Provide quality of care for OPD and in patient management, proper health education and collaborate with another department.
• Conduct normal deliveries independently. Ensure daily data quality on ANC, admission, delivery, PNC, family planning, OPD and discharge registration, proper documentation of referral cases, and strengthen linkages.
• Ensure nutritionally at-risk infant and their mothers also receive mental health and health promotion support (targeted to the infant developmental age) as part of an integrated approach to inpatient nutritional care and treating the infant and mother as one unit.
• Support mothers/wet nurse mothers in proper positioning, attachments, duration, and frequency of feeding, effective suckling as well as double suckling.
• Provide timely and accurate reports.

Nutriti0n Assistant
JOB SUMMARY
This role is responsible for implementing nutrition programming across field sites and for ensuring implementation of the project in accordance with the IMC set standards and protocols.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in all CMAM and Infant and Young Child Feeding activities at health facility and community level through, working with health facility staff and CHVs.
• Supportive supervision for CMAM and IYCF activities at health and community level and collecting, compiling the reports on a weekly and Monthly basis.
• Ensuring that health facility and Mobile teams services have adequate nutrition supplies for SAM and MAM
• Assess CMAM and IYCF training gaps for health facility workers and CHVs and recommend the best training to be conducted.
• Support in organizing CMAM and IYCF trainings in both health facility and community level.
• Train the Community health workers/volunteers MUAC screening, CMAM, nutrition and hygiene reporting, enable them effectively to deliver Key messages, in a manner that it is easy for the communities to remember, and adopt the practices.
• Working closely with Health and WASH team, nutrition treatment team, to ensure that nutrition messages are intergraded in all Health facilities and outreach activities.
• Work closely with the community and create feedback mechanism pathway, that will enable communities to provide feedback to the program and that the program team respond to issues raised by the affected population timely.
• Work closely with M&E section and collect monthly data and activities reports and ensure proper filing of all projects related documentation.

- Assist the staff to develop/adopt appropriate technical training manuals and facilitator’s guides.
- Support the staff to build strong relationships with community groups to promote active participation.
- Support the FSL staff to write reports, document successes, challenges, and best practices for external and internal use.

- Actively represent International Medical Corps and serve as the technical resource person on food security and livelihoods sector networks and technical Working Groups

To contribute to improving the nutritional status and livelihoods of vulnerable individuals and communities affected by crises and shocks in the Adamawa and Northern regions, WFP has entered into a partnership agreement with IMC to implement specific and nutrition-sensitive interventions and develop sustainable livelihoods. JOB SUMMARY
This role is responsible for the daily supervision of technical planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of agricultural field activities, and for ensuring proper coordination with stakeholders.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Supervision
- Provide relevant technical guidance and collaborate with the project Pre-Design team to design and deliver the participatory community assessments and co-create the project.
- Assist in the organization of work, spending and procurement plans development for Livelihood Grant and ensure they are matched and applied by program staffs/support service staffs in covered region.
- Actively engage in the beneficiary selection process as directed
- Engaging and building strong relationships with community members, analyzing data collected to identify Livelihood-related gaps, designing priority action plans and training modules on improved food security techniques, inputs, etc. in partnership with the community.
- Develop a clear and adaptive training work plan based on the seasonal calendar, beneficiary availability, project deadlines and targets, etc.
- Ensure the organization and supervision of community mobilization component of the project in collaboration with MINEPIA, MINADER, District, Field agents and CHWs.
- Provide support in the design of the trainings to be provided to food security program participants, the preparation and conduct of surveys as defined by the project;
- Works closely with the various stakeholders (sectoral, local and administrative authorities, traditional and community leaders, humanitarian partners, the community) to ensure a better understanding of the project, good mobilization for the conduct of planned activities and the achievement of project objectives;
- Develop with all stakeholders’ mechanisms for the sustainability of all Livelihood activities conducted;
- Ensure the planning of activities in the coverage area according to the monthly and quarterly action plans to ensure the achievement of project objectives.
- Support the sectoral in conducting coordination
- Ensures that joint supervisions are planned as per the project document.
- Ensure that the gender aspect is respected in the implementation of all project activities.
- Ensures that the project’s coverage area (villages where activities are implemented) has mechanisms for community management of complaints and feedback.

Capacity Development
- Actively engage in the beneficiary selection process as directed
- Identify and reinforce existing support mechanisms and work closely with local counterparts to ensure community buy-in and cultural appropriateness of activities;
- Provide technical advice and support to the project staff and other team in link with the project activities to ensure programming objectives are successfully achieved;
- Identify training needs and develop a training plan in line with existing budgets;
- Collaborate with all community programs in intervention areas to strengthen community capacities in the fight against malnutrition;
- Identify partners and points of service and support for people in need of food assistance;
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and final reports with accurate data to be sent to donors while ensuring the quality of their content and in a timely manner;
- Maintain flexibility to take on added responsibility when needed;
- Contribute to information-sharing and data management systems;
- Work with other implementing partners to ensure prompt implementation of program per global standards.
- Ensure the timely implementation of field works as per the predefined schedule.

Coordination
- Actively participate in Nutrition, Health, Livelihood and Cash working groups and contribute to interagency initiatives, also promoting IMC as a leader agency in Livelihood and Food Security;
- Field coordination with the local stakeholders on best implementation including participants and communities benefitted by the project activities.
- Coordinate with local authorities and ensure continuous communication with beneficiaries, health sector, and communities’ representatives regarding the implementation of works to ensure flawless progress of activities.
- Support in building relationships between IMC, State Sector, health district and other authorities, municipality, and communities.
- Ensure maximum visibility of IMC and relevant donors amongst the UN and NGO community;
- Contribute to the positive image and credibility of the organization, notably through its Code of Conduct application.
Financial Management
- Logistical planning of field activities (procurement, transport, distribution, etc.)
- Arrange all necessary logistics for activities of projects including workshops and trainings.
- Ensure compliance with donor financial regulations;
- Ensures that program activities are on budget and executed in a timely manner;
- Comply with IMC and donor requirements and report any funding issues;
- Attend Pipeline and PMT call.
Human resources
- Supervises and mentors all Livelihood staff working for the project;
- Ensures that all program staff are assessed on time and that performance evaluation files are shared with the HR Assistant;
- Ensures that the annual leave plan for Livelihood staff exists and is implemented;
- Maintain open lines of communication with the program staff;
- Contribute to the training of the program staff;
- Provides appropriate and timely feedback to the program staff regarding their performance, including annual staff performance reviews.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Typically, a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, social science, animal husbandry, veterinary sciences, and related studies.

Consultant
- Provide software and system troubleshooting and support.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and update operating systems and user applications.
- Proactively schedule software updates, upgrades and patches.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair wired, wireless and other network infrastructures.
- Troubleshoot and repair IT equipment (laptop, desktop, printer, …)
- Manage the reinstallation of IT equipment following office or personnel changes.

- Assist in various IT tasks
Under the supervision of the Logistic Coordinator, the IT consultant is responsible to provide technical support primarily for staff, roving staff, interns, and visitors at Yaoundé office for all computer (both hardware/software), printer, server, and networking equipment issues. Primary role is to support, analyze, document, and standardize computer hardware and software systems. Must be able to effectively install and repair computers promptly when possible or recommend an external service, as well as assist in various IT projects and training of end-users.
