FIELD SALES EXECUTIVE
Role Context
The Field Sales Executive will consult with business owners and introduce them to the #1Logistics Company in the world. To provide and efficient, friendly and courteous service to customers to maintain service excellence and DHL’s reputation as a market leader.
Key Responsibilities
•Ensure visit all clients in respective bases within the 90-day call cycle
•Build revenue streams with current customers and evaluate opportunities to increase the relationship through face-to-face visits, problem-solving solving and administrative follow-up
•Ensure that daily updates regarding client visits, client information, sales activity and any other required data are captured using the applicable CRM tools
•Responsible for obtaining x 4 First Time Buyers (FTBs) per month.
•To strictly uphold DHL security procedures
•Responsible for managing customer concerns or complaints timeously and in accordance to DHL procedures to limit potential loss of customers.
•To maintain an adequate supply of stationery and documentation to effectively carry out assigned duties and to continually meet customer requirements
•Ensure effective pipeline management by upholding a pipeline strength of 40% (of total portfolio revenue) at all times
•Collaborate with Sales, Finance,and Operations teams to maximize sales and revenue growth within a territory
•Pro-actively identify any risks to customer relationships and/or SPD figures and intervene accordingly to eliminate potential loss of revenue
Minimum Requirements
Education & experience
•Minimum bachelor’s degree, matric (Grade12) or equivalent qualification
•Valid Driver’s License
•Minimum of 3 years experience in field sales
•Excellent Business Communication
•Good communication skills in English
•Accuracy and attention to detail
•Ability to manage time and to be punctual
•Ability to work well and under pressure
•Good interpersonal skills
•Analytical ability

CUSTOMS CLEARANCE SUPERVISOR
Role Context
Supervise (a) the inbound clearance process and (b) the export process within established standards for processing and transit time. Developing strong relationships with the customs authorities to improve clearance capabilities and efficiencies. Manage deployment of customs-related applications. Manage the team to be on top of all the KPIs assigned to the team. Work closely with the Operations Management to identify, develop and prioritize initiatives that will improve the quality of customs clearance service to DHL customers, inbound/outbound transit time and the overall cost position. Act as the company representative in discussions & negotiations with customs authorities & other border agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Has supervising responsibility for all Customs clearance services
- Ensure that the levels of pre-clearance/pre-release of shipments are maximized
- Ensure the timely payment and recording of customs duties/taxes.
- Ensure for any customs control DHL does not pay penalties
- Ensure good relationship with Customs for a smooth management of customers
- Ensure all KPIs are on target shipments should spend less time in the state warehouse
- Lead the team to ensure team building and efficiency of the team
- Organize appropriate shifts and manning levels to meet business requirements
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipment processing and ensure clearance is smooth and rapid
- Control bonded areas
- Liaise with DHL customers where paperwork and authorities are required from them to expedite clearance of their shipments
- Identify the cost-saving/efficiency opportunities
- Deploy applications
- Audit the work done by the team to anticipate any customs issues
- Identify internal and external opportunities and recommend initiatives that will facilitate the customs clearance
- Provide competitive clearance service
- Provide management information and reports
- Support management to achieve Gateway KPIs
- Build up a keen relationship with the relevant parties
- Implement a compliant clearance procedure
- Provide the effective recommendation to attribute Country
- Develop/facilitate the specific process for Key accounts
- Implement a sound customs strategy
- Represent DHL interests at all levels of Customs & Regulatory administration
- Present initiatives and lobby to the Government
- Conduct audits of clearance performance
- Provide technical support to the Commercial Team
- Make decisions directly related to shipment processing
- Prepare declarations and take responsibility for the lodgment of declarations with the authorities, negotiate on duty payments, difficult clearances
- Handles customer objections and decides/recommends the best course of action to take. Work under minimal supervision and outside of established procedures where necessary
- May provide expert advice, training, and technical assistance to lower-level service, production, and support personnel. May direct the work of others and contribute to employees’ professional development
Minimum Requirements
Education & experience
- 5+ or more years of experience in related areas of responsibility. Subject matter expert in service, production, or support area of responsibility
- Performs all of the standard and all of the specialized and most complex aspects of the function
- Comprehensive knowledge in technical or specialty area
- Takes the lead in effectively applying new processes and skills in accomplishing tasks and may teach them to others
- Have a good relationship with customs and have a good number of contacts
- Strong leadership skills
- The Supervisor should be customer-centric

CUSTOMS SPECIALIST
En tant que CUSTOMS SPECIALIST vos missions seront les suivantes :
- Faciliter l’importation, l’exportation et l’expédition en temps opportun, sécurisée et rentable de matériaux, équipements, produits, colis et documents à travers les frontières internationales.
- Mettre en œuvre les activités de courtage en douane telles que la préparation et la tenue des registres d’expédition, la préparation des connaissements et divers calculs incluant droits, tarifs, conversions de prix, poids et volumes.
- Fournir les services d’importation/exportation liés aux douanes pour les transports TBO et NTBO.
- Classifier des marchandises en fonction des informations fournies par les clients.
- Vérifier les articles expédiés, les dates de validité de l’expédition, les débits et les droits/tarifs aux institutions gouvernementales.
- Identifier, obtenir et compiler les documents nécessaires pour l’obtention des permis, licences et certificats pour le dédouanement.
- Traiter quotidiennement de la documentation d’expédition, des déclarations en douane et des autres documents requis, y compris les modifications après dédouanement, conformément aux réglementations et aux procédures internes.
- Traiter, manipuler, distribuer et archiver tous les documents requis dans la zone d’expédition.
- Facturer les services aux clients, examiner les factures et les documents d’expédition pour garantir la conformité aux réglementations fédérales.
- Coordonner avec les bureaux à l’étranger pour vérifier et valider les informations d’expédition.
- Communiquer avec les organisations externes telles que les autorités douanières ou les agents d’expédition pour vérifier les exigences douanières et finaliser les coûts et les délais d’expédition.
- Éviter les amendes et/ou blocages en Douane.
- Identifier et résoudre les problèmes récurrents, et proposer des modifications des méthodes de travail visant à accroître l’efficacité et le contrôle des coûts.
- Accompagner au besoin les commerciaux lors des visites clients.
- Conseiller les clients sur des sujets juridiques (par exemple, conformité commerciale – expéditions vers des pays sanctionnés) et douaniers.
Key Performance Indicators :
- Taux de conformité douanière.
- Temps moyen de traitement des déclarations tous régimes confondus (CAMCIS, EGUCE, etc.).
- Taux de rejets douaniers.
- Analyse des amendes/pénalités par mois.
- Taux de gestion des régularisations en Douane dans les délais impartis.
- Temps moyen d’obtention des SPC/attestations des mines pour les régimes y afférents.
- Taux de satisfaction des clients.
Knowledge Skills and Experience :
- DQP Déclarant en Douanes.
- BTS Logistique & Transport/Commerce International ou dans un domaine pertinent du secteur.
- Expérience de plus de 2 ans dans un poste similaire ou connexe.
- Compréhension globale du commerce international et des modèles commerciaux de DGF.
- Capacité à travailler efficacement, de manière autonome et en équipe.
- Excellentes compétences en communication verbale et écrite.
- Maîtrise de la communication verbale/écrite en anglais et en français.
- Expérience avec l’environnement MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) et les logiciels CRM.
