Trade Marketing Manager

The company

 

A subsidiary of the Holcim Group, Cimencam is the leading supplier of construction materials in Cameroon and Central Africa. Cimencam is a team of several hundred motivated and increasingly skilled men and women.

The company has a balanced presence across the national territory with a grinding station and a mortar factory in Bonabéri in the Littoral, a grinding station in Nomayos in the center, a subsidiary in Figuil in the North (Cimencam Figuil), which is an integrated cement plant.

 

Function

 

ASSIGNMENT

In compliance with the Group’s internal rules and health, safety & environmental regulations, the Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for:

  • Planning and executing user and customer activities at points of sale to help achieve return on investment.
  • Initiate customer marketing actions in order to create a competitive advantage.
  • Customer growth, Cimencam products in line with the company’s overall marketing strategy.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop territorial and customer action plans
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the marketing strategy and adapt it for all cement activities;
  • Leverage a deep understanding of the external environment, distribution channel, users and product segments (through close collaboration with the business strategy manager) to develop a successful activation plan;
  • Mastering the end-to-end process and managing effective 12-month planning;
  • Participate in the harmonization of product and customer/sales marketing agendas;
  • Designing joint marketing operations between brands and retailers to build customer loyalty, maximize volume, revenue and profitability, and negotiate budgetary terms;
  • Carry out promotional activities, organize and participate in trade fairs and exhibitions;
  • To take ownership of the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) process, before and after, and to draw conclusions/take action accordingly;
  • Develop and adjust the activation plan based on the activities identified as the most value-creating, maximizing return on investment and market share growth, with the support of the sales team;
  • Prepare and lead the monthly execution meeting with a view to improving commercial performance indicators (Market Share, Distribution, Sales Efficiency);
  • Monitor the budget for customer marketing activities;
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and annual activity reports;

 

Profile

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree (4-5 years of higher education) in Marketing, Sales, Commerce & Distribution, or Management
  • At least 5 years of experience in a sales role

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Mastering marketing techniques and tools;
  • Be creative, propose original promotional activities, take initiatives;
  • Analysis and synthesis of information to ensure marketing monitoring (products, markets, competition) and feedback from the field;
  • Define the specifications for BTL agencies;
  • Working collaboratively and building trust with multiple internal and external stakeholders;
  • To know the company’s products, production techniques and their constraints;

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop territorial and customer action plans
  • Ensuring a high standard of sales channels
  • Ensuring better targeting and coverage of points of sale facilitates return on investment (priority customers/segments).
  • Ensure immediate delivery to customers who are out of stock.
  • Beat the competition through effective activity monitoring, taking counter-attack actions, and reporting;
  • Ensure the achievement of customer visit objectives through an efficient tour plan.

Missions

The End User Support MasterData team is responsible for:

  • Provide functional and technical support for application chains to users
  • Providing quality services to users through clear procedures and effective technical/functional support
  • Ensure high availability of ERP application/server resources and associated applications
  • Complete all mandatory and refresher training courses
  • To be involved in any mandatory service requirement

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and submit tickets on the ServiceNow platform
  • Administering systems, including configuration
  • Diagnose and resolve anomalies observed in the ERP
  • Ensure the following actions are performed in the ERP system:
    • Create/Modify supplier accounts
    • Create/Edit Carrier Accounts
    • Create/Edit customer accounts
    • Create/Edit employee accounts
    • Create/Edit items (stored and non-stored)
    • Create/Modify CAPEX accounts
    • Create/Modify in the COA (Chart of Accounts)
  • Manage user accounts and roles
  • Assist and resolve user issues related to MasterData
  • Depending on the functional requirements, perform MasterData reviews
  • Follow the implementation of any other ERP/SAP system as needed.
  • Monitor IT projects and apply best practices in compliance with international and Holcim standards
  • Apply IT and IS security requirements in alignment with international standards & Holcim
  • Drafting specifications that meet the needs
  • Providing technical support to users
  • Monitor the progress of IT tasks and manage risks
  • Implement best practices for incident management with all IT team colleagues
  • Reporting on one’s professional activities

 

Profile

 

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Having less than a Bachelor’s degree in computer science;
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT systems management
  • Significant experience in managing IT projects would be an asset
  • Windows Server 2016 certification or equivalent would be an asset.
  • Certification in IT service management would be an asset
  • Project management certification would be an asset
  • Cloud certification

Technical skills

  • ITIL or COBIT certified
  • Knowledge of IT service management standards and frameworks (ISO 27001)
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (WATERFALL, AGILE)
  • Good knowledge of virtualization – VMware

Brand Assistant

ASSIGNMENT

In compliance with health, safety & environmental regulations, the Brand Assistant (Research & Studies) assists members of the marketing management team (director and staff) by organizing their events and travel, participating in various projects, and also by writing product catalogs and sales support materials.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To handle daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities;
  • Supporting the marketing manager in the organization of various projects;
  • Conduct market research and analyze customer evaluation reports/questionnaires;
  • Use marketing analysis techniques to collect important data (social media, web analytics, rankings, etc.);
  • To assist in the organization of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns, and to attend in order to facilitate their success;
  • Write marketing materials (brochures, press articles, etc.) to strengthen the company’s market presence;
