About the Role: 

Line Manager : Accounting and Reporting Manager

Location : Douala

Type of contract : Full Time

The Tax & Cash Accountant will join a dynamic accounting team to execute a full suite of services across the Tax & cash management work scope.  This includes reconciling and payment of taxes, managing relationships with the banks. Support in the preparation of the OHADA Reporting and associated OHADA operations.

 

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage bank accounts for the business and ensure compliance with BC policies
  • Establish and maintain strong communication links with the bank and ensure that transactions are executed
  • Ensure that all bank signatories are updated accordingly.
  • Establishes monthly bank reconciliations and ensure all suspense are cleared
  • Establishes cash flow forecast for the Business and follow up its execution
  • Ensure the foreign vendor tracker is updated for both goods & services vendor
  • Supervise the AP & intercompany reporting process done by the GBS and ensure the BCC procedure is adhered to.
  • Ensure the proper reconciliation of tax accounts
  • Ensure proper documentation of VAT credit transaction
  • Ensure that monthly declaration of taxes is performed properly and on due time
  • Ensure that account receivables and suspense accounts are correctly books, analyzed and reconciled
  • Account for all cash and tax transactions in the books of the Local Statutory GAAP – SYSCOHADA
  • Participates in the preparation of statutory accounts – SYSCOHADA
  • Help the accounting & reporting manager during Tax controls and follow up on tax audit/improvement points…

 

 

About You:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a similar field
  • Master’s degree is a plus
  • Minimum 4-6 years of working experience in Finance or Accounting
  • Tax accounting skill
  • Good communication skills (writing & speaking / French, English is a plus)
  • Professional & Positive attitude to deal with changing environment
  • Technical proficiency (e.g., SAP – ERP systems, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Cameroon Tax system
  • Experience in a multinational Company, preferably in B2B/Food Industries
  • Participation in process transition is an advantage
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives regarding bank & tax processes
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationship with a wide range of stakeholders

External beans warehouse supervisor

The External Beans Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the management, storage, and monitoring of processed cocoa beans in external warehouses. The role ensures the proper receipt, storage, and transfer of lots between processing sites and the production facility while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and food safety standards.

The position oversees daily stock monitoring, verifies the alignment between physical inventory and system records, participates in inventory counts, and coordinates logistics operations with various stakeholders within the Beans Operations team. The incumbent is also responsible for ensuring the availability and proper maintenance of handling equipment and monitoring the execution of required phytosanitary treatments.

This role requires solid experience in inventory management, a good knowledge of SAP, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent organizational and planning abilities. The successful candidate must demonstrate integrity, autonomy, rigor, teamwork, adaptability, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.

 

 

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Ensure compliance with and enforcement of safety, quality, and food safety requirements.
  • Monitor bean stocks in external warehouses on a daily basis.
  • Analyze operational and inventory data related to processed bean storage facilities.
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure consistency between physical stock and system records.
  • Participate in monthly physical inventories and warehouse inspections as required.
  • Receive and properly store processed bean lots received from processing sites.
  • Coordinate return transfers with processing site warehouse supervisors to the consumption site.
  • Monitor and manage storage and handling equipment (pallets, jute bags, forklifts, etc.).
  • Recommend stock transfers based on the condition and status of stored lots.
  • Track and monitor inventory activities within the warehouse.
  • Ensure phytosanitary treatments are properly planned and executed.
  • Prepare and submit daily operational reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the department or management based on business needs.

 

About You:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3/4) in Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience in inventory or warehouse management of 2 to 5 years.
  • Logistics-related certifications would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of forklift maintenance is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles.
  • Good knowledge of SAP.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong planning, anticipation, and organizational skills.
  • Good knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodology.
  • Basic computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Windows applications.
