Core mission

The Data Analyst shall participate in harmonisation of performance indicators, reports as well as strategic and operational dashboards. He/She shall make the said items available to actors and users of the decision-making system as well as ensure alignment in operational and strategic performance indicator reports while ensuring compliance with existing standards and procedures.

Main activities and duties

• Define the Key Performance Indicators – KPI- and Key Results Indicators- KRI)- of units ;
• Use Power BI to report and analyse data as well as performance indicators ;
• Automate dashboards, reports on metrics and performance indicators for use by various actors in Top Management, Mid-level and direct managers, Controllers, and Reporting officers of the commercial, distribution, internal control, and strategic planning units as well as of the finance department, etc) ;
• Participate in the implementation of a data warehouse of operational activities relating to commerce and energy distribution (data marts to generate dashboards and perform analyses) ;
• Participate in the production of monthly and annual activity reports on KPIs;
• Ensure data logging ;
• Respond to various requests for delivery of reports to various units that use the decision-making system;

Your profile

• Minimum of Master’s in IT, Statistics or related fields ;
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the areas of computer-aided decision-making.

Technical skills

• Good mastery of dimensional data modeling, data integration and ETL practices;
• Good mastery of data analyses and management;
• Good mastery of algorithms and statistics (regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks) ;
• Good mastery of database queries (Oracle, MS SQL Server, My SQL), regular expressions in SQL and stored procedures;
• Good mastery of the Microsoft Business Intelligence suite (Power BI ,SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, DQS, MDS, etc);
• Good mastery of data mining;
• Good mastery of the Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Visio);
• Good knowledge of information presentation models (tables, PivotTables, graphic design).

Key Assets

• Good knowledge of the Windows operating system;
• Good knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, Java;
• Knowledge of SAS tools.
