The Goethe-Institut is the cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany, operating worldwide. Its objectives are to promote the German language abroad, foster international cultural cooperation, and provide a comprehensive picture of Germany.
The Goethe-Institut Kamerun invites qualified service providers to submit bids for painting works at its premises in Yaoundé.
1. Scope of the Tender
The works include:
- Applying washable paint to the classrooms;
- Applying washable paint to the upper section of the main building;
- Carrying out the necessary preparatory work (cleaning, paint removal, filling cracks, treating damaged surfaces, etc.);
- Supplying all materials, equipment, and consumables required to complete the works.
2. Minimum Technical Specifications
The service provider shall:
- Use professional-grade paints suitable for the intended interior applications;
- Provide technical data sheets for the proposed products;
- Ensure adequate weather resistance;
- Protect surrounding surfaces and equipment throughout the works;
- Thoroughly clean the worksite upon completion.
3. Required Contents of the Bid
The bid must include:
- Company profile;
- A copy of the business registration certificate, if available;
- Up-to-date tax clearance documents;
- References for similar works completed;
- A detailed quotation indicating:
- Labour costs;
- Material costs;
- Total cost, including all applicable taxes;
- Proposed completion period;
- Warranty period for the works.
4. Site Visit
A preliminary site visit is strongly recommended to accurately assess the scope of work and any potential technical constraints.
5. Evaluation Criteria
Bids will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Administrative compliance of the application;
- Experience and references of the service provider;
- Quality of the proposed materials;
- Completion period;
- Total bid price.
