JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and strategic Human Resource Officer (Recruitment & Onboarding) to join our team to manage and strengthen the recruitment process. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent while ensuring an efficient, professional, and candidate-focused recruitment process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Human Resource Officer (Recruitment & Onboarding) will be responsible for the following:
1. Talent Sourcing and Recruitment
• Manage the full recruitment process from job requisition to onboarding.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates through various channels (job boards, professional networks, and direct sourcing).
• Screen applications, conduct preliminary interviews, and shortlist candidates based on job requirements.
• Coordinate and facilitate interviews with hiring managers and key stakeholders.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
2. Stakeholder Collaboration
• Partner closely with department heads and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job specifications.
• Provide professional guidance on recruitment strategies, market trends, and talent availability.
• Ensure timely communication with stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
3. Recruitment Administration and Reporting
• Maintain accurate recruitment records, candidate databases, and applicant tracking systems.
• Prepare and present recruitment reports including pipeline status, hiring metrics, and time-to-fill analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal HR policies and recruitment procedures.
4. Onboarding and Talent Integration
• Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for newly hired employees.
• Collaborate with HR and departmental teams to facilitate integration and orientation processes.
• Support HR initiatives related to talent management and workforce planning.
REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
• Min. Min. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Min. of 5-6 years of professional experience in recruitment and human resource management, with a focus on talent acquisition and employee onboarding.
• Familiarity with recruitment tools, professional networks, and sourcing platforms is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and produce creative visuals for print materials (flyers, brochures, banners, business cards, etc.).
• Collaborate with the sales and production teams to understand client requirements.
• Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and client expectations.
• Prepare final artwork files for print production.
• Stay updated on design trends and software.
Requirements

Key Responsibilities
1. Exploration Planning & Execution
- Lead and manage exploration activities including prospecting, geological mapping, geophysical and geochemical surveys.
- Plan and supervise Diamond Core and Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling programs from early-stage exploration to grade control during mining operations.
- Identify and evaluate potential mineral deposits and exploration blocks.
2. Geological Supervision
- Manage and guide local geology teams in:
- Drilling supervision
- Core logging and sampling
- Geological interpretation
- Coordinate with laboratories for testing and analysis including:
- Mineralogical studies
- Metallurgical testing
- Geotechnical analysis
- Hydrogeological studies
3. Resource Modelling & Estimation
- Use geological software to develop:
- 3D orebody modelling
- Block modelling
- Conduct resource and reserve estimation in compliance with JORC standards.
4. Data Management & QA/QC
- Manage exploration data collection and maintain geological databases.
- Implement QA/QC procedures for sampling, drilling, and assay results.
- Ensure accurate reporting and validation of geological data.
5. Project Coordination
- Manage exploration teams across multiple sites and mineral zones.
- Coordinate site planning, data collection, and operational execution.
- Ensure timely completion of exploration activities and reporting.
6. Technical Reporting
- Prepare and review:
- Geological reports
- Exploration reports
- Prefeasibility studies
- Feasibility studies
- Conduct detailed evaluation of exploration blocks to identify potential mining deposits.
7. Mine Planning
- Use geological and mine planning software to generate:
- Short-term mine plans
- Medium-term production plans
- Long-term mine development plans
- Conduct mine evaluation and optimization studies.
8. Site Management
- Travel between exploration and mining sites to oversee operations.
- Provide leadership, technical guidance, and supervision to field teams
Qualification
- Master’s Degree in Geology / Applied Geology
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in mineral exploration and mining geology.
- Proven experience working in African mining projects with multi-commodity deposits including:
- Base metals
- Precious metals
- Strategic/critical minerals
