Position: CALL FOR APPLICATIONS Data Quality Control Officer (DQO)
Location: CRID, Yaoundé, Cameroon.

Role Summary

This project, Catalyzing the Adoption of a Novel Vector Control Toolbox (CANVeCT), is a multidisciplinary study in Cameroon designed to evaluate the protective effectiveness of spatial repellents (SRs) in reducing malaria transmission and influencing insecticide resistance profiles, compared with dual-active ingredient long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs). Funded by UNITAID, the study integrates epidemiology, entomology, mathematical modelling, social science, and health economics to generate robust evidence for including spatial repellents as an essential tool for malaria control and elimination. The project is implemented in close partnership with the National Malaria Control Programme (NMCP) and global health international institutions, including the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). The project is implemented in collaboration with national malaria control programmes and international partners, including the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) and the London School of Hygiene, and to support malaria elimination efforts in Cameroon.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

Essential

  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in data quality management in clinical trials or public health research.
  • Strong knowledge of GCP, data protection regulations, and ethical guidelines.
  • Proficiency in REDCap, ODK/ KoBoToolbox, R, or other statistical/data management software.
