About IFP-EH
IFP-EH (Institute for Professional Humanitarian Training) is a specialized training institute dedicated to enhancing the skills and capacities of young professionals aspiring to work within national and international humanitarian organizations. Internship Objective
This internship aims to provide professional immersion in the humanitarian sector through hands-on tasks related to training coordination, project management, humanitarian communication, and community outreach. The interns will gain experience by assisting in real-world humanitarian projects and collaborating with experts in the field.
Main Responsibilities
● Assist in the organization and coordination of humanitarian training sessions;
● Participate in the mobilization of youth for information and awareness campaigns;
● Contribute to the creation of educational and communication content (training materials, flyers, social media posts, etc.);
● Support the organization of events and webinars related to solidarity and humanitarian action;
● Help in the preparation of activity reports and documentation of best practices;
● Research key topics (protection, education, humanitarian leadership, etc.);
● Collect information from local associations or NGOs to create partnerships or document field needs;
● Assist teams in monitoring community projects or training initiatives.
Desired Profile
● Student or recent graduate in social sciences, international development, international relations, project management, or related fields;
● Strong interest in humanitarian work and community-based interventions;
● Excellent writing and communication skills;
● Ability to take initiative, be well-organized, and work collaboratively in a team setting;
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Canva knowledge is an asset);
● Knowledge of the humanitarian sector or prior volunteer experience is a plus.
