Junior Team Member, Equity Capital Markets

Responsibilities:

• To assist in executing ECM’s marketing efforts to secure mandates ie, pitchbook.
• To build a database on the Equity Capital Market transactions and deals parameters.
• Coordinate effectively with various internal departments to execute mandates, ie. Internal papers and presentation materials.
• To ensure that the department’s work is of the highest quality and does not violate any regulatory or legal requirements, internal rules, or compliance requirements.
• Nurture relationships with clients and counterparts in other ECM houses.
• To ensure efficient and timely execution of mandates according to deadlines.
• To protect the reputation and integrity of the department, the Investment Bank, and the Group.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree – A degree holder at a minimum froma  ranked university, specializing in economics, accounting, business administration, finance and engineering or CFA level 1.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in investment analysis or related experience.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting and finance.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Innovative with excellent interpersonal skills and good presentation skills.
• Strong financial modeling skills and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications.
• A keen interest in the activity and development of the capital markets, especially in Malaysia.
