JOB ADVERT: CLINICAL LABORATORY MANAGER AT GLOBAL HEALTH SYSTEMS LABORATORY

About Us: Global Health Systems Laboratory is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering high-quality medical diagnostics and patient care. We seek two highly skilled and motivated Clinical Laboratory Managers to oversee our clinical laboratories’ daily operations in Douala and Limbe.

Key Responsibilities:
-Manage and oversee all laboratory operations, including specimen processing, testing, and reporting.
-Ensure all laboratory tests are conducted accurately, efficiently, and meet quality standards.
-Supervise, mentor, and lead laboratory staff and conduct performance evaluations.
-Develop and implement laboratory protocols, policies, and procedures.
-Maintain quality control programs, conduct audits, and ensure laboratory equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
-Manage the laboratory’s budget, supplies, and inventory, ensuring cost-effective operations.
-Collaborate with physicians, pathologists, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and accurate diagnostics.
-Implements laboratory QMS and compliance with state regulations.
-Stay current with advancements in laboratory technology and diagnostic testing to enhance laboratory efficiency and innovation

Requirements:
-Master’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (Chemical pathology, Microbiology, Hematology, Immunology etc.)
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
-Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
-Proficient in laboratory information systems (LIS) and other relevant software.
