Position: BRANCH MANAGER
Location: Grand Hanger, Douala
Job Objectives: To ensure seamless processing and excellent service delivery in credit availability whilst ensuring strict adherence to the bank’s credit policies.
Role & Responsibilities
-Implement marketing activities and policies for the institution to promote products and services
-Support and facilitate the development and implementation of business/marketing plans.
-Ensures that all loan requests that meet requirements receive appropriate internal approval.
-Identify opportunities and areas of growth for MUSIC (partners and new investors).
-Ensures that all loan requests that meet requirements receive appropriate internal approval.
-Analyze loan applications from customers in the portfolio and forward them to the head office.
-Key Performance Indicator
-Customer Satisfaction through prompt service delivery on various products.
-Continuously Improving the capabilities of staff.

Position: MARKETERS
Mustard Seed Investment Credit (MUSIC) is a grassroots microfinance institution created on the 12th of June 2014, with a macro vision to offer innovative financial and related services to members and the public. By leveraging the power of financial technology, we are dedicated to bringing a new banking experience to all users, enhancing financial inclusion and facilitating digital payments across Africa. Amongst other conventional financial products like Savings accounts and current accounts, MUSIC has equally invested on a product called FLEXY BANK which enables users to access their accounts anytime and anywhere within and out of Cameroon.

We are seeking the services of suitable candidates who would be ready to work in our branch Office in Grand Hangar, Douala in the following positions;

Key Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
-Establish and maintain positive customer relationships, plan and deliver effective marketing strategies and monitor the progress of new and existing financial products;
-Carry out prospection and onboarding of customers, brokers and merchants to offer them products and services that meet their specific needs.
-Grow product holding per customer to maximize MUSIC share of customers’ wallets;
-Provide operational support on a day-to-day basis;
-Carry out cross-selling of products;
-Constantly engage customers to enlighten them on new products and services of MUSIC;
-Identify opportunities and areas of growth for MUSIC;
-Prepare and submit activity reports to management as may be required from time to time;
-Work with other team members to source for new business;
-Participate in organized customer fora for feedback and training on MUSIC products and services
-Maintains customer records by updating account information.
-Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.

Required skills and qualifications
-To have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Economics, Marketing or an equivalent in a similar domain from a reputable university;
-Proven bank management experience for at least three years as a Branch Manager or similar role;
-Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices
-Good working knowledge in Excel and Microsoft Word,
-Strong analytical skills,
-Proven track record of good performance,
-Ability to meet sales targets and production goals,
-Excellent organizational and leadership skills,
-Someone of impeccable personal and professional integrity,
-A personality that is self-motivating, engaging, positive, result-driven and possesses the maturity and capacity to command respect.

Objectives of this role
-Serve as the main point of contact in all matters related to client concerns and needs
-Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships
-Maintain accurate client records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals
-Work with sales and other internal teams to develop strategic marketing plans and ensure KPIs are being met.
