Job Description: Zonal Operations Manager – Yaoundé

Position Title: Zonal Operations Manager

Location: Yaoundé, Cameroon

Reports To: Regional / Head of Operations

Role Summary

The Zonal Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operational performance of all Forzza betting bars, shops, and kiosks within the Yaoundé zone. The role ensures uninterrupted business operations, cashier staffing, revenue control, partner relationship management, and achievement of commercial targets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Operations Management
  • Supervise all Forzza bars, kiosks, and partner locations within Yaoundé.
  • Ensure each location is operational, clean, active, and customer-ready daily.
  • Conduct regular field visits to all assigned outlets.
  • Resolve operational issues quickly to avoid downtime.
  1. Cashier Management
  • Ensure full cashier coverage across all active locations.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and replace cashiers where required.
  • Monitor attendance, punctuality, discipline, and performance.
  • Ensure daily reporting of sales and cash balances from all cashiers.
  1. Technical & Utility Oversight
  • Ensure constant availability of electricity (ENEO), internet, and betting platform access.
  • Escalate and resolve outages immediately.
  • Coordinate repairs of terminals, printers, routers, UPS, generators, and related equipment.
  1. Revenue Control & Collections
  • Collect or supervise daily collections from all assigned outlets.
  • Reconcile declared cashier revenue with actual collections.
  • Detect shortages, fraud, or irregularities promptly.
  • Submit accurate daily and weekly financial reports.
  1. Partner / Bar Owner Management
  • Maintain strong working relationships with bar owners and partners.
  • Resolve disputes professionally and quickly.
  • Ensure partner compliance with agreed standards and operational requirements.
  • Identify new potential partner locations for expansion.
  1. Performance Growth
  • Improve sales and activity levels across the zone.
  • Recommend promotions and local activation opportunities.
  • Track underperforming locations and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Minimum HND / Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years experience in field operations, retail supervision, betting, telecom, FMCG, or similar sector.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Good numerical and reporting ability.
  • Must know Yaoundé well and be comfortable with daily field movement.
  • Honest, disciplined, and results-driven.

 

Compensation

Base Salary : 200,000 XAF – 300,000 XAF per month (depending on experience and performance)

Incentives

  • Monthly bonus for achieving zone revenue targets.
  • Bonus for zero cashier shortages/fraud losses.
  • Bonus for successful opening of new productive partner locations.
  • Performance bonus for maintaining 95%+ outlet uptime (power/internet/platform).
