Administrative Assistant

We are seeking an organized, proactive, and tech-savvy Administrative Assistant to support our operations across all HIGHUPWEB entities and ensure smooth day-to-day coordination.

Role Overview
As an Administrative Assistant, you will serve as the backbone of our operations—supporting management, coordinating communication across departments, handling student and client inquiries, and keeping our workflows running efficiently. You will support the Academy, Agency, Driving School, and Foundation through strong organizational skills, professionalism, and modern digital tools.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about supporting a mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities
At HIGHUPWEB Academy:
Manage student inquiries, registrations, admissions forms, and class schedules.

Maintain digital and physical student records with accuracy and confidentiality.

Assist with classroom coordination, attendance tracking, and exam scheduling.

Support instructors with administrative tasks and communication.

Provide timely updates about programs, fees, announcements, and events.

 

At HIGHUPWEB (Digital Agency):
Support client onboarding by preparing documents, contracts, and communications.

Coordinate project meetings and assist in organizing client files and briefs.

Maintain the agency calendar and follow up on project deliverables.

Assist the marketing and web teams with administrative tasks such as invoicing, reports, and client updates.

 

At Highupweb Driving School:
Handle driving lessons scheduling and coordinate with instructors.

Manage registration, fee tracking, and issuing receipts.

Respond to inquiries about programs, pricing, and requirements.

Keep daily records of students trained, attendance, and exam preparation.

 

At Highupweb Foundation:
Assist in coordinating outreach programs, events, and community activities.

Maintain donor and beneficiary records.

Support communication for fundraising campaigns and scholarship announcements.

General Administrative Duties:
Serve as the first point of contact—greeting visitors, answering calls, and responding professionally to messages.

Prepare and manage internal documents, reports, and communications.

Track office supplies and ensure smooth daily operations.

Assist the Management Team with scheduling, minutes-taking, and follow-ups.

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment.

 

What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience in administrative, office, or customer service roles.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Basic proficiency with digital tools: Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, WhatsApp Business, CRM tools, etc.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professionalism at all times.

Friendly, patient, and service-oriented attitude.

Strong time management and ability to work under pressure.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Secretarial Studies, or a related field (preferred).

We are now seeking a creative, technically skilled, and driven Web Developer to join our Digital Agency team in Yaoundé.

 

Role Overview
As our Web Developer, you’ll design, build, and maintain modern, responsive, and secure websites and web applications for both internal and external projects. You’ll work closely with designers, marketers, and clients to ensure websites are functional, visually appealing, and aligned with the latest tech trends.

This is a full-time, on-site position at our Carrefour EMIA head office in Yaoundé.

 

Key Responsibilities
Web Development
Design and develop websites and web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and related technologies.

Build dynamic websites with WordPress, customizing themes and plugins as needed.

Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and optimized performance.

UI/UX & Graphic Design Integration
Collaborate with designers to transform Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch mockups into functional front-end code.

Use graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva to create and optimize visuals for the web.

 

Maintenance & Optimization
Update and maintain existing websites, ensuring strong uptime and security.

Implement SEO best practices, page speed optimization, and basic analytics integration.

Debug and fix issues across front-end and back-end layers.

Client & Team Collaboration
Participate in project planning meetings with clients and internal teams.

Translate business needs into technical requirements and deliver functional solutions.

 

What We’re Looking For
Proven experience (2+ years) in web development and WordPress site management.

Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and responsive frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind).

Proficiency in WordPress (custom themes, plugins, CMS architecture).

Familiarity with Figma, Photoshop, or other UI/UX tools.

Good sense of design, layout, and user experience.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

You will work closely with our management, media, academic, and web development teams to increase visibility, drive enrollment, enhance customer engagement, and strengthen our social impact.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, digital communication, community building, and strategic marketing.

 

Key Responsibilities
1. HIGHUPWEB Academy
Develop and execute communication strategies to promote training programs.

Create educational content, student success stories, and program announcements.

Support enrollment campaigns through targeted messaging and consistent outreach.

Manage communication across WhatsApp, email, social media, and SMS platforms.

 

2. HIGHUPWEB Digital Agency
Develop content that showcases client projects, services, and campaigns.

Coordinate communication with clients and prepare marketing materials.
